Sometimes good things happen when you least expect it.
It all started with that one conversation on
visa run. Then we figured out many, many shared interests. We even share the same birthdate but two years apart ;)
JC is now based in Hua Hin - officially making Thailand his home. And I doubt he has any intention of heading back to cold Scandinavia. He asked if I'd like to come up and visit - which I had to say 'no' to since I've already maxed my credit card and it is also pretty time consuming to travel to Hua Hin from the capital.
So we decided to meet in Bangkok instead.
He offered to pay for my airfare because I complained the ticket is pretty pricey. And now I have no excuse to say no.
Crazy, I know.

Bangkok, Thailand
3rd - 5th July 2009Over the phone yesterday - Feb claimed I sounded happy. And I have to admit I am. Not the
'so happy I want to jump up and down on the bed' kind but more to feeling content. I haven't felt that way in a long time; prolly because I had too much to think about.
And it reminds me of one particular proverb:
Happy is the one who forgets that which cannot be changed
There was never a day that I didn't think about what happened between Lauri and I.
But I know things happened for a reason. I tried to keep the relationship together but it failed - but hey, I tried right? So I chose to forget what happened, forget all the name-callings. Because I have no control over it; and to think back I wouldn't want to change any of those decisions we made.
And I saw his true colors now.
